Break out existing brickwork wall and dispose off site.
Break out existing concrete slab and dispose off site left by a previous contractor.
Reduce level dig and remove subbase aggregate and dispose off site.
Supply and lay flat top concrete edging on concrete bed and haunched to existing asphalt surface to provide demarcation.
Regulate existing site levels with subsoils.
Supply and lay certified topsoil to area, including compaction.
Supply and lay Turf to area with initial watering.
Challenges involved working around existing live electrical cables within the concrete slab during the demolition process. However, this was mitigated through using the necessary site surveys outlining the location of the service prior to works commencing.
We provided all our own welfare and temporary fencing for the duration of the works to prevent our client having a site team on site during the works with us taking on the role of Principal Contractor.
